Change hob plans without canceling your subscription or losing founders pricing.
Change plans
You can change between Pro and Pro+ from the billing portal. Use change plan or manage subscription. Do not cancel and create a new subscription if you want to keep a locked founders rate.
Downgrade from Pro+
If you start on Pro+ and decide Pro is enough:
- Open the billing portal from your hob receipt or account link.
- Choose your current Pro+ subscription.
- Change the plan to Pro.
- Keep the same subscription active through the change.
For normal paid subscriptions, the change usually takes effect at the next renewal. You keep Pro+ through the period you already paid for, then renew on Pro.
Founders pricing
Founders pricing stays with a continuous eligible personal subscription. Changing from Pro+ to Pro should keep the founders rate when the change happens through the billing portal.
Canceling the subscription, letting it lapse, then starting again is different. That creates a new subscription and can lose founders pricing.
Extended trials
Extended trial codes start a Pro+ trial. Checkout lets you choose monthly or annual billing before the trial begins. Some extended trial codes are limited to a launch, conference, or partner window.
If you want Pro after the trial, change the subscription to Pro before the first renewal.
