The first 1,000 paid personal subscriptions lock in a Founders rate: 40% off the current personal plan price at launch. That rate stays with you for as long as your subscription remains continuous, even as we adjust standard pricing over time. Your spot is reserved the moment your trial begins. If you cancel during the trial or later let the subscription lapse, you give up your Founders rate.

Every Founder locks in Founders pricing and joins the shared Founders community, where the team reads feedback and feature requests. The first 100 are Charter Founders, with direct, individual access to the team and a closer hand in shaping hob's direction. hob runs locally and stores agent conversations in a local database on your device. Regular hob service traffic is limited to read-only checks like app updates and model-list updates. Agent work goes between you and whatever agent provider you already use, such as Anthropic or OpenAI. hob is the interface, not the middleman.

Pro+'s remote access uses our managed relay at roam.hob.dev. Frames are end-to-end encrypted by hob on top of WebSocket TLS before entering the relay, which forwards encrypted frames only — it does not have the plaintext needed to read your workspace or session data. You can always use your own networking instead if you prefer zero third-party involvement.

Yes. There are no long-term contracts. Cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your billing period.

Yes, if you are an individual buying hob for yourself. Personal licenses can be used for your own professional work. If hob is being used inside a business, bought by a company, reimbursed by an employer, or managed as part of a company engineering workflow, it needs a Business license.

Business is for company-managed engineering workflows and employee seats. Enterprise is for larger deployments with custom procurement, security, deployment, source access or escrow, or self-hosting requirements. Smaller teams should start with Business.
